In case you can’t find an answer to a particular question quickly, below are some of the more frequently asked questions about the property.

Rosemont House doesn’t have conventional opening hours, please call Di on 0448 411 506 at any time you think is reasonable!

Check-in is usually between 2pm – 6pm, however we understand that many of you will be coming from Melbourne on a Friday evening after work. Please let Di know if you need to check-in after 6pm and it can easily be arranged. 

On the day of departure the check-out time is 11am. 

Early check-in or late check-out can be arranged prior to arrival – just ask if it is possible in your case.

You will find a small bar fridge with Gippsland milk and small bottles of still & sparkling water provided. 

There is an electric kettle,  along with a large selection of bespoke teas, coffee bags & hot chocolate for your enjoyment. There is also a jar filled with ‘cowboy mix’ for nibbles! 

You will find fine bone china coffee mugs, along with lead crystal wine & champagne glasses to enjoy a little of something on the verandah or in front of the fire. 

There is a smart TV with high speed internet, a selection of games, books, guides, maps, and the latest Gippsland magazine, all for your enjoyment. 

For your convenience, a selection of high-quality bath towels, hand towels & a bath mat are provided, along with the beautiful ‘Serendipity’ toiletry products (including shampoo, conditioner, moisturiser, body & hand wash), tissues, earbuds, makeup remover sachets, sanditory bags (because we are on a septic system) and a hairdryer, are all provided for your use.,

Each room has its own air conditioner for personal climate control along with modern ethanol fireplaces.

Yes, however Di’s usual custom is to greet you on arrival, on the verandah & provide you with your unique door code, to explain the room facilities, the local area & to answer any questions you may have. 

Please let Di know the night before arrival if you would prefer a keyless check-in & she will provide you with your unique door code before arrival.

Yes. The top carport, closest to the house, is dedicated to guest parking.

There is a dedicated space on the verandah for each room with a table & chairs overlooking the Noojee bush & township. 

A perfect place to enjoy a pot of coffee or glass of wine at the end of a busy day’s exploring.

There are two options for a breakfast basket.

Option 1 – Rosemont House Sourdough (made on the premises) 

Or 

Option 2 – Buttery croissants with ham off the bone & swiss cheese. 

Both breakfast baskets come with Gippsland Butter, homemade jams, Noojee honey, vegemite, peanut butter (made from roasted peanuts only), a parfait of Gippsland yoghurt, Rosemont House Granola (made on the premises), and fresh berries (usually strawberries, blueberries & raspberries) and freshly squeezed orange juice.

A gluten free option is also available.
