Our aim is for you to leave Rosemont House feeling relaxed and rested with your expectations for your stay exceeded.
Hello, a warm welcome! My name is Di Johnston and in late February 2020, I made the move from Armidale located in the New England region in northern NSW, to Noojee, Victoria. While moving closer to family was the main reason for my move, the people, the exceptional beauty and the overwhelming friendliness will keep me here for many years to come!
Whilst I’m new to Noojee, I have dreamed of becoming an accommodation provider for many years! I bring a wealth of experience to this new venture having had a rewarding and enjoyable career as a travel agent. This, coupled with a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service with special attention to detail, means guests are always a priority.
Having travelled the world, staying in all types of accommodation, I really understand what it takes to make a stay memorable. The most important thing for me is that all guests at Rosemont House benefit from comfort, style and an amazing break away.

About Rosemont House
Like Di Johnston, the owner, Rosemont House is not a Noojee local! This beautiful Californian Bungalow was built in 1930 and started her life at 57 McCrae St, Dandenong. In June 2011, she was cut in half and moved to where she now sits at 368 Mt Baw Baw Tourist Rd. She was restored and loved back to life by a devoted Melbourne couple who spent most weekends labouring over her.
I fell in love with her on Christmas Eve 2019 and the sale went through in February 2020 with the intention of turning her into luxury bed and breakfast accommodation.
The name, Rosemont House, comes from my grandparents’ property in the Upper Macleay NSW where I spent a lot of time when I was young. I’ve always loved the name and thought it was fitting for a home with such history.
