Rokeby to Neerim Trail Walk

The Rokeby to Neerim Trail Walks, West Gippsland start at Rokeby Common, this trail passes through the Crossover Regional Park before heading north to Neerim South and then follows the Main Neerim Road to the edge of Neerim. 

Highlights of the Rokeby to Neerim trail walks, include the Trestle Bridge at Crossover, views of the Tarago Reservoir, Bunyip State Forest in the west and towards Mount Baw Baw in the east.  These walks are classed easy and therefore for everyone! Enjoy the fresh air and gorgeous greenery on these nature-loving, shady trails.

  • Rokeby to Crossover – 4km – Easy, mostly flat even surface with no steps or steep sections.
  • Crossover to Neerim South – 3km – Easy, mostly flat even surface with no steps or steep sections.
  • Neerim South to Neerim – 5.59km – Easy, mostly flat even surface with no steps or steep sections.

Total Distance – 12.59km – Easy, mostly flat even surface with no steps or steep sections.

Rokeby Flora and Fauna Rail Trail

A short trail to a picnic and fishing spot on the Tarago River. The old rail trail also extends south to Old Telegraph Road and includes interpretive signs about rail history and local flora & fauna. A great place to stretch your legs and enjoy a short walk from Rokeby township.

Access to the trail is 140m past the Rokeby Hall on the left hand side from Old Telegraph Rd. 

  • Rokeby Flora & Fauna Rail Trail – 1km – Easy, mostly flat even surface with no steps or steep sections.
